Since we know this situation is so fluid and unpredictable, we appreciate your patience at this time and will continue to be in touch with updates. We understand how disappointing it is for you and your dancers with the preparation and excitement that goes into a dance season, but safety and health have been the driving factors for any decisions at this time. Please know that we are working tirelessly to come up with options and alternatives to keep our dancers active, motivated, and inspired! We hope to see each of you in person as soon as it is safe and possible.
Chicago, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, and Anaheim Tour Stops:
The Chicago, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, and Anaheim events have been cancelled due to COVID-19. We are working on potential rescheduled dates, but cannot confirm if this is possible until it is clear when such gatherings will be able to take place again. Information about credits, transfers, and refunds have been directly to studio owners or contacts on each account (please reach out if you haven’t received such information for any reason). In order to help streamline communication at this time, please refer to your studios for more details.
Our first virtual event was a great success, and we will continue to communicate updates about upcoming virtual events and opportunities! Transcendent qualifications are awarded at each Virtual event for a chance to audition for our Ultimate Transcendent title.
We are hopeful that our July 17-19 Summer Intensive will be able to happen as planned, and hope to see you there! We will continue to keep you updated if anything changes.
Let’s stand together as a community, keep each other motivated, and keep dancing in any way we can. We hope to see you very soon!
Don’t you wish you could receive feedback from judges BEFORE you ever step out onto the stage? We know your stage time is valuable, and our faculty is here to help you do your best! Submit videos to receive private, personalized critiques + an adjudication-only award to help see where you currently stand and use the feedback for your competition prep. And there is more… one routine in each age division with the highest adjudicated score will receive a free regional competition entry!
Submissions do not have to be from a performance, professionally filmed, or even completely finished (although they can be). In fact, we encourage you to submit videos that you want feedback for as you clean and polish them!
Deadline to submit: November 1st, 2020
What You Receive
3 critiques + an adjudication/score breakdown per video
Studio submissions will receive 2 regular critiques, and 1 “teacher-only” critique focused on choreography + teacher guidance
1 Routine in each age division with the highest adjudicated score will receive a free regional competition entry for a 2021 city of choice!
For every Routine submitted, you will have a chance to write “Notes” for things you would like the judges to focus on (if anything)
Critiques + Adjudications will be sent out privately within 1-2 weeks of the event
The Competitive Edge is open to anyone, individually or as a studio.
Ages are calculated as of January 1st, 2021. See our regional event info HERE for age breakdowns
